So my phone has been lost for a few days......

Joe and I Searched the house up and down for HOURS! It was horrible! I knew I was in huge trouble. The worst part was that I knew it was in the house somewhere. I knew that was the last time I had used it. So we looked and looked and looked.... then I gave up. Sunday afternoon I was getting ready to make some brownies. The oven was done preheating- so I opened it up to put the brownies in..... AND THERE WAS MY PHONE. Baking away at 350 degrees. I was so happy to find it- but so sad it was baked. Needless to say- I now need a new phone.
- the worst part about everything- is that I did it.... not the kids. Please don't tell my husband.

I was doing garlic bread- and it was about to burn..... I was on my phone..... set my phone down on the door of the oven- while it was opened- Hurry and got the bread out- hurry and shut the door- so the kids wouldn't touch it-....... and there went my phone.

Almost as good as the mismatched shoes. That really made me smile.

You're little stories are killin' me right now. The shoe one is a keeper. I feel like I'm reading short stories out of Reader's Digest. Your stories have given me the laughs I need to get through the day! Although I do things like that all the time. It's best not to tell the hubbies everything right?

Do not take the blame for this. It's the kids. Kids make us all a little crazy. It's not possible to do everything we're expected to do without a small error here and there.

Mom- stop reading!

And I like Jessica's idea of a short stories book about the mishaps of mom's. Wouldn't that be a hilarious present to give to your mom for mother's day. A collection of the funny and maybe not so funny things that have happened with all of her grandkids while we've tried our best to raise them well. I might think about that.
