End of Summer SO CAL Trip

The last weekend before school started , we took a weekend trip down to San Diego with Grandma and Grandpa. It was well needed, and we had a BLAST.

First Stop, FOOD.

The girls had so much Fun at the beach, defenanly the highlight! Macee got really good at boogie boarding. We couldnt get her out!

The water was warmer than ever, And the weather was beautiful!

The water kept coming up higher and higher. The girls sand castles kept washing away!

My Favorite part, Doing NOTHING. 

After the Beach we went to one of our favorite places to eat, Islands.

I was craving their mushroom burgers!

We had to wait a bit, but it was well worth the wait!

Sunday after Church, we took the train down to Old town San Diego, and went to the Mormon Batallion. It was Absolutely Amazing! 

 They LOVED the train. It was an hour there, and an hour back. On the way there, we had the whole top to ourselves 

As soon as we got into Old town, our first stop was Rootbeer Floats! mmmmmmm

After the program and the tour, the girls got to pan for gold, and do other things that represented what they used to do. 

Last stop before heading on the train, Mexican food.

As soon as we got off the train, we walked to the pier. It was such a beautiful Night. We then headed back to the hotel.

The next morning before heading home, Macee and grandpa woke up extra early,walked down to the beach and went boogie boarding. They said it was so calm, and no one was there. They had so much fun. (this pic was taken the day before at the beach )

And of course, we couldn't leave L.A without stopping at our favorite outlet mall. We got some great deals:)
